Washington D.C. Meet-UP RecaP

Our Washington DC Meetup made us feel ¡PRESENTE! We checked out the Molina Family Latino Gallery at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, a precursor to the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino. Special thanks to Victoria Gonzalez (@victoriaously), our Museum Expert, and Charlie Johnson Stoever (@travelercharly) for always tying in the vital $Money$ topics to any conversation.

The aesthetics of the gallery made us feel seen and represented, not to mention the aesthetics we brought to the MeetUp. Denisse Sánchez (@empressaria_818) with her matching “Guapa” necklace, hoop earrings, and bold blue eyeliner. Lilia Stone (@liliastone) with her Talavera inspired nails, almost matching the Talavera sold in the museum store. Thank you Perla Mora (@pmoraaa), Amanda Aguilera @manderzaguilera, and Ale Tracy Chavarriaga @dancing.healer for attending, helping to further add *sabor* to this space.

The MeetUp ended with Venezuelan arepas at Arepas Zone in DC, just a short 23 minute walk / 5 minute car ride away from the museum. 🤌🏽🫓 que delicia!
